How to Play

Follow these simple steps to get started

Object of the Game

The object of the How Much Do You Really Know?® card game is to guess law enforcement-related terms and acronyms, while learning interesting trivia about the FBI, aka The Bureau (BU).

Assemble an even number of players (2-8), and take turns reading the cards. Start by reading the name of the category to your teammate.

Cards

For the BU-TERMS, describe the term without using the word itself. If you say ANY word on the card, you forfeit that round to the other team.

For the BU-NYMS, read the acronym and provide clues to help your teammate guess the correct answer.

For the BU-TRIVIA, there are both multiple choice and true/false questions.

Playing Options

Suggestion: Instead of shuffling all the cards together, separate the BU-TERMS, BU-TRIVIA, and BU-NYMS cards.

For a fast-paced game, play with all the BU-TERMS and BU-NYMS cards using a three-minute timer. Each team will take turns playing for three minutes.  At the conclusion of the game, tally the points.

If you want to make the game more challenging, play with all the BU-TRIVIA cards without reading the multiple-choice options. You can give your teammate clues.

Rules

You are allowed three passes BEFORE giving a clue. After the third pass, the next draw goes to the other team.

You cannot pass after you have started giving a clue.

At the start of the game, decide how much time a player will have to give a clue before the next draw goes to the other team. This will help keep the game moving.

Scoring

While keeping score is an option, the How Much Do You Really Know?® card game can easily be played without keeping score.

If you choose to keep score, the team with the most cards answered correctly wins the game.

Correct Answers:

BU-TERMS = 3 points.

BU-NYMS = 3 points.

BU-TRIVIA = 5 points.
