About Us
The game How Much Do You Really Know?® was created by a couple of retired Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) employees, with over 70 years of combined service, who still reside in Washington, DC and Maryland. After watching the news during the Capitol insurrection on January 6, 2021, the idea for this game was born. A local reporter stated that “FBI agents were patrolling the grounds of FBI Headquarters on watch for the rioters.” The inaccuracy of that statement is what made us ask just How Much Do You Really Know?® about the FBI.
How Much Do You Really Know?

The object of this game is to bring awareness to the inner workings of the FBI, aka the Bureau. Our intent was to make a fun, yet educational, game that could be played by multigenerational families. You don’t need to have any prior knowledge of the FBI to play. How Much Do You Really Know?® is a game for everyone.
We guarantee that everyone will learn something new about the FBI, and will be surprised by how much they already know. We’re challenging current workers, retired employees, and anyone with a general interest in the FBI to play How Much Do You Really Know?® and let us know if you get all the answers correct.
The game includes three tiers:
BU-TERMS: Words that are used internally throughout the Bureau. If you can describe the terms without saying the word, it will enhance your knowledge of the FBI. Some of these terms are: “Accomplice”, “Search Warrant”, and “Jurisdiction”.
BU-NYMS: Often, while watching TV, you will hear names like CSI, BAU, NCIC, and SAC being thrown around. Have you ever wondered what they mean? We’ve got you!
BU-TRIVIA: To really make the game fun, we included some trivia questions about the FBI in popular media such as books, movies, and TV shows that feature FBI characters and real investigations. These trivia questions span the history of the Bureau and quiz players on topics ranging from real-life Director J. Edgar Hoover to FBI characters portrayed by some of your favorite actors such as Keanu Reeves, Matthew McConaughey, and Johnny Depp.
It is our hope that you will enjoy learning about the FBI and testing just how much you REALLY know.
